Our Mission and History
It is the mission of Operation Shoebox to meet the needs of every hero with dignity and appreciation.
Founded in 2003 by military mom Mary Harper, Operation Shoebox began as a living room project to boost troop morale with care packages. Now we ship 800–1,000 packages weekly from right here in Central Florida, delivering snacks, personal items, and thank-you notes to U.S. service members worldwide.
