Dear Mary,

My name is SSG Joseph B and I’m currently serving in Afghanistan.  I received several packages from the wonderful members of your great organization.  Many things in the box are items we really aren’t able to get here.  If me or my platoon can’t personally use any of the items we receive, we then pass them forward to those who can.  Either way, you generous efforts do not go wasted.  We appreciate everything you send and send you and your staff and members a huge heartfelt thanks and a big hug.

Thanks for not forgetting about us.
