Thank you so much for [your care package with] the caps.  My guys and I are very grateful for your effort to support us while we are deployed.  Your caps have flown around Afghanistan multiple times so they have been broken in and have been put to good use.  We want you to know your care for us has been  well appreciated.  We wish we could thank you in person but for most of us we will be home shortly.  Thanks for keeping us warm.  God bless you and your family!!  Thanks,
